Has anyone changed a stock on an ARP 556 or ARP 9? I’d love to know which buffer tube to go for (I really like cheap) and any other advice you might have on this.  Cheers.

Thanks for moving it to the right area - sorry :)

Yep. Magpul clone UBR, which uses its own stock tube. And RS HERA HRS stock

You can fit any AEG stock meant for an M4/AR1589F50148-542A-4E7F-A14F-3BD24FE8BCD8.thumb.jpeg.3318a119456eedc47971aa138dfe06cf.jpeg5A15E8DB-1B17-4161-8018-34684A84C585.thumb.jpeg.28b5fafc59a6a0852bfae0de52f51fd6.jpeg

Thanks for the info RD - they look great. How about an adjustable / sliding stock? Any idea on the buffer tube I’d need?

The UBR is adjustable. But  any standard AEG buffer tube will fit

Thanks RD. Very helpful. I see you have a completed ad for the UBR. Was it nice to use?

What adapter did you need for the HRS stock, and did you put the battery in the stock/buffer tube?

The HRS uses an AR15 fixed tube,  because it’s real steel, you can’t get an AEG stock for it.

You'll need to buy an normal 6 position type stock tube, machine off the adjusters and tap a hole in the tube, and drill a hole in the stock, to get it to fit right.

OR

Look on DHgate or aliexpress for a UBR stock, most have AEG tubes on there ??

Good idea RD. I’ve never used either of those sites but they look pretty good. I reckon a small Lipo should fit okay in the UBR. Thanks again.
