Recommend me a good throat mic.

Hi all. I used to have a throat mic in the past (Tears of the sun film) - just to show how long a go that was. Anyway I am looking to buy a throat mic and I would like to know what are your thoughts on the z-tactical ones or is there anything better.  I have done the whole headset thing with helmet in the past, but want to keep things as different as possible from everyone else.

 

if anyone has experience of using throat mics, there pros and cons, please let me know.
