stephenisvile
Aye so I've been using a 9.6V 1600 NiMH, and I'm hearing lots of different things about LiPo batteries and what voltage, mAh and discharge ratings to use and I'm not too sure what to go for. I'm thinking of going for this one - http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/lipo-and-life-airsoft-batteries/vp-racing-7-4v-1450mah-25c-lipo-stick-battery.htm#.WUUa32jytPY The gun shoots at 1 joule, has a newer 30k motor and mosfet. Any advice would be welcome, thanks!
Comicbook hero
I run my LVOA on 7.4 Lipos. I have both a 1200mAh Nuprol stick that runs at 20c and fits in the stock tube and a Turnigy 1400mAh crane stock that runs 15-25c. Both work as well as one another and run the Warsport really snappily. I have the stock 20k motor but have upgraded the spring to a M100 and get about 340FPS. I think the c rating on the Lipo will only be an issue if you try and run 11.1 lipos and too be honest I have never felt the need as my trigger response and rate of fire are superb on a 7.4.
