G&G M4 not working 😩

I use to air soft a lot, but never progressed past being a newbie. I have a g&g full metal m4.

 

A long time ago, I was having some battery issues. My battery heated up a few times, one day when I was messing around with it, I stupidly held the trigger to see if it would heat the battery up, the battery got rediculously hot so I unplugged it. I got a new battery a few days later, charged it and plugged it in.. and nothing happened at all. No clunks of the gears or anything.. are the internals fried?

Being a noob I don't have a clue so some help would be great ??

possibly blown the fuse, when it locked up did you try it in full auto too?

Yeah tried full auto, tried switching between safe, semi and full and still nothing happening

check your fuse then :-)

After the fuse... if it's still no good check the trigger contacts haven't arc'd to the point of not working (gearbox disassembly time). And whilst you're on your way to the gearbox check the motor and motor wiring are still good.

Could send it into me for a good service and repair.... could be many things causing it, so a good going through is the answer
