Slimslim
Hey all. Recently started airsoft and looking forward to my 3rd event this Sunday allowing me to start rapidly losing money on RIFs Currently going to my local site (EAG Gatwick) and really pleased with the friendly atmosphere. Will be making my first purchase on an AK47/74 and finding the reviews and advice on the forum very helpful in making a choice. Anyhow see you around

jay83
Whats that site like because its prob our most local and we have never been? I was told its more like a paintball site/airsoft with short games and we like the longer games ect. Or is that rubbish? And what kinda turnout you get, cost ect. I would be looking at booking it for the coming months should be anything from 10-25 of us. And welcome Slimslim, maybe see you there. Guest PT247
it is also a paintball site, but they don't have us playing paintball games. It is tailored for airsoft, with bigger play areas, some of the games are long, some short so sounds like you been mis informed. This weekend they had 80 players, they are talking about 100+ players in the future. Normally it is around 50-60 players tho. Cost is £25 for the day and that includes a burger at lunch and tea/coffee all day.It is in the process of a reshuffle at the moment and the site is wanting to do works to improve parts: the safe area is going to be vastly improved and new buildings etc will be being built in the airsoft game areas. The regulars are hoping the reshuffle doesn't detract from the way the site has always felt in the past.... more like a club where everyone was friendly and mates, if it gets too big with too many people attending it may lose that feeling which would be a shame.
