TacMaster Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I'm starting to get feeding issues where the BBs will stop coming out of my barrel after a 4-6 round burst. When I take the mag out 4 or 5 BBs will fall out, is this a dodgy mag or bad hop rubber?
RR01 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Have you tried a different mag? If so, does it still do it? Hicaps can get a broken spring and some midcaps can bind in the feed tube. If it's just the one mag then it's worth stripping it down, cleaning it and putting a bit of silicon on the feed tube. If it's all mags then more likely a hop problem, either too much hop or possibly a knackered rubber.
Saltyyy Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 The issue where 4-5 BB's are falling out is normal, there is a tube which the BB's are pushed up towards the hop unit, when the mag is empty there is no pressure on the BB's in the tube, meaning they fall out.
