Me and 2 friends have all tried sniping and want to split the money and get a decent rifle that will last,

We are new to sniping and have no experience with any brands other than TM.

Which is the best brand of sniper for accuracy and range?

What should we be looking to upgrade to improve range & acuracy?

It's all been covered countless times, but the Best and simplest bet would be the TM VSR.

As to what to replace? Just about everything, if you're going to do it properly! ;)

But to start with; switch to heavier, good quality ammo. (.28 at the minimum, really) and look at getting a decent quality Barrel and maybe an improved Hop bucking. (Always liked the Marui ones personally though).

That should give you a good start whilst still retaining durability and keeping it quiet & easy to cock.

After that; if you want to upgrade the power you'll ideally be looking at a new cylinder set. (Cylinder, Cylinder head, Piston, Spring and Spring guide) which will THEN necessitate replacing the sears and spring guide stopper (I recommend A complete Zero Trigger unit rather than the individual sears; it also means you get the compatible piston included, rather than buy one separately).

Then to round it off you'll want some barrel spacers.

That should be a good chunk of what you'll need. Expect it to come to somewhere around £5-600 in total; getting bolt actions to a decent quality is an expensive and time consuming business; DON'T SCRIMP ON THE MONEYS! ;)

What about a Real Sword SVD? Although its not a springer it looks beautiful and ive heard its good out of the box? Never used one but saw one last year

That's sniper's for you, I'm afraid! Same for any of them unfortunately.

And as for the the RS; They're lovely bits of kit; a friend of mine has one and it's brilliant; but being Semi auto; you'll be restricted to 350 at a lot of places.
