Alexb111
Firstly welcome to the forums and the sport For it to be legal: You must be 18 for 2tone guns, the bright orange, green, see through etc versions. To get a realistic coloured one or to be able to paint it you need whats called a UKARA licence. Have a look through the UK law section of the forum for UKARA and theres plenty of explanation. It basically provides a defence if the police ever ask: "Why does that look remarkably like a gun?" And finally for £20 your not going to get very much at all, expect it to fire about 3 shots and give up or be totally outclassed in comparison to whatever else is there. The best advice I can give is hire a gun from the site, most do that and it works out a little more expensive but your usually holding between £100 and £200 worth of gun on the day and if there's any problems early on they will fix it. If the site doesn't do hire guns Id advise you find one that does or take a look at some of the stuff on here and the amount people usually spend on guns. Good luck
lemon191
firstly how old are you ? you can only buy airsoft guns if you are 18+ and even then you can only buy a brightly coloured one until you have played a few games and get either a site membership or get put on the ukara database. the best advice is hire a gun from the site see if you enjoy it first and buy a gun once you are a regular skirmisher. the £20 gun will be near useless at a skirmish site it won't have enough range or firepower as I imagine its a single shot well everyone else will be using automatics that can loose off 100s of rounds. if you want to buy a rifle then you need to look at aeg ones that cost £100+ otherwise they probably won't be unto the standard you need
