Hi

All am looking to get a new gun, have a budget of £100/150 seen this scar on novat combat

can anyone tell what make or if this is any good as a budget gun. Also dont know much about the Scar as such do they take an m16/4 mag are they easy to upgrade etc later on

The SCAR looks good and the pricier ones shoot well too. From a take down point of view they can be a pig. The cheaper ones tend to holdthe body in place by some very short threaded screws threw the side of the body. The issue comes from the body being pressed metal and therefore less than 1mm thick. Overtighten the screw and it will spin on the thread, effectively ruining it. For that money buy a second hand one with some history from a player. You will have a better insight as to its pros and cons and may even get some extras. Is it just the look or are the M4 mags the attraction? If the later go for an CA or ICS for the same money. Best all round out of the gun box (looks aside) is the Steyr Aug. (imho)
