Well guys as promised heres a in depth review of close action airsoft Kettering

Site entrance-

i walked in and from the middle of town took me 30mins and was easy to find well sign

posted.

safe zone -

big area with plenty of space to park your car however no permanent shelters as its a rented site there was a small shelter but again this was quickly filled up with the hire gun tables ammo shop etc, also no portaloos so its rambo style when it comes to the lav

food -

burgers and hot-dogs can be ordered at the start of the day not to pricey however i didn't get any as was on a budget but wish i had as they looked and smelled fab so defo will be next time.

Site -

one word HUGE!........... no but really this site is massive good mixture of woodland valleys with a nice mix of dence and open areas however carefull where u stand as there are a fair few hidden potholes etc as expected at a true woodland site but on the whole a good game zone imo

games -

We managed 5 games 1st the old cap the flag (no medics respawn back at your team flag)

this really let the game down imo as it basicly ended up with blues one side of a clearing reds the other picking each other off with the odd player myself included trying to flank however just as you got forward boom you hit and u get to start all over again from right at the back,

2nd was capture the enemy

2 bases once hit in game you must stand still either defended by your team mates for 3mins or untill your enemy come get you and take you back to there base which they earn 1 point for each time then a quick 100 mtr walk to your base and bck in game. loved this game at one point i noticed the only people using the midle lane so i just legged it pistol in hand towards the blue base got to about 5ft out and smack picked off by an enemy sitting behind there flag ( had i made it the blues would have had to start again from 0 points) still maybe next time

3 and 4 were the old defend the bunker blues defended b4 lunch reds after

this was played up a nice hill known as heart attack hill and i almost had one but again a good game defending team had one life each attackers unlimited no medics

and 5 was a huge capture the flag game

and i do mean huge the game zone was just under 3/4 mile square with a mix of dark woodland, open long grass areas shrubs murder holes everything with medic rules allowed (30sec count in) the game lasted just under 2 hours us reds (me and one of the Marshall who was playing ) flanked far left n took out the 8 guys guarding the blue flag then the old mad dash back to base under cover of smoke hails of bbs frags u name it then the blues had to get it back within 45 mins (which they failed) allowing reds to take the overall win on the day.

Marshals -

they split evenly between teams each team had 1 high vised marshell for tech help the others joined in while reffing targeting the enemy's Marshall's all where fair and wouldnt let there own team not take hits etc

hire guns -

g36's and ak's

i had a g36 and my batt lasted all day no problems at all

shop -

3000 .2 bbs 8pound or 10 pound for .3

frags 3.50 or 10 for 30 pound

smoke 2.50 or ten for 20 pound

overall this was a great day loads of friendly guys good age range youngest was 12 ( in a few days) oldest was about 60 had around 50+ players and it being my first time the regs made me very welcome even got to have a play with one of the marshells gas l96, so in the end i would deffinetlly recomend this site to others.

p.s sorry for the crap grammer etc im shattered lol
