UberDemon
Hello everyone I'm new here on the site and need a little bit of help/advice. (sorry if this is in the wrong section) Basically I have a vsr GSpec and require it to be firing around the 400fps mark its currently firing at 318fps with 0.20g bbs. I was wondering what I should do to upgrade it? Such as cost and parts? Also what parts would be best to start with so on, as money tight so bit by bit would be the best way for me? Thanks alot hope to hear soon. UberDemon
Saltyyy
Tightbore 6.03 and a new spring. Tightbore is optional and costs £40, spring change is around £10.
Hudson
This has no doubt been covered in a VSR/Sniper thread; but to break it down: I Second Saltyyy: a good quality tight-bore should be one of the first things you buy; along with a quality hop bucking before you even think about increasing the power; otherwise it's fairly pointless doing anything. After that; an M120 spring *should* ideally get you around 395-400fps, but you'll need more than that if you want it to last any reasonable amount of time; at the least, you'll be wanting upgraded Sears (Trigger and Piston, and probably a Spring guide stopper too) or ideally a Zero trigger. (Which unfortunately is pretty expensive - probably as much as the gun itself). Barrel spacers are also recommended at this point too. Then a good quality Piston (The Z Trigger includes one) and spring guide would be next, and maybe a new cylinder. Running at 400; you may be able to save on a few things; but a good barrel and hop would be essentials, as well as the 2 Sears...The other parts can, I guess; be bought at a later date as and when you require them.
