Your Worst Skirmish

more annoying still are the ones that start shouting and balling like a soviet commisar and then stand and watch what happens instead of leading the charge... like a soviet commisar haha
Agreed, although if they are moving up themselves then fair enough to shout to a degree. I usualy offer to run in first but ask people to follow behind, of course they usualy don't

yeah cqb rush in hope for the best, then at local site your usually 2 minute tops from the respawn point, or even the nearest stairwell for some games.

man up and look like you've got chicken pox by the end haha

easy sounds pretty harsh sometimes the best days are when the weather is bad.

I love bad weather.

As for CBQ, there is always one bastard that hides udner a table in the corner of a room.......and its always the same bastard that ends up with grenades landning right in front of his face.

i love grenades

Hmmm the worst skirmish day for me was probably when I turned up at the site and was told that nobody had come but me :o and I was the only booking. In the end it was alright even though it was just me and the marshals. 3v3 but I got some cracking long range shots in with my sniper :D

Not as good as when there used to be about 15 on each team though, unfortunately the site closed down shortly after because of a lack of players. R.I.P Redditch airsoft.

Get yourself a waterproof poncho for the rain, they're really good and you can use them as a bascha.
Tbh, a boonie to keep the rain away from my glasses and normal clothing washed in waterproofer (makes the material water resistant ya see) normally does the trick. Never, ever use a poncho as a basha, a few of my mates have been issued them in my OTC and well... they're keeping them in their lockers for 3 years until they have to hand them back into the RQMS, theyd rather not sleep under something with a hole in it, especially when going to Sennybridge (google it). Might as well get a basha if you want to basha, makes sense really :P

And ive never really had a 'worst' day, but a fair number of bad games, especially attacking a base at the bottom of a hill with unlimited respawns but the respawn point is right at the top of the hill (yey for Rhodey Base and Heart-attack hill, you F@O Heywood guys know what im on about!! ;) )

They did know to tie off the hood right i do it in scottish rain and snow and i'm fine

in ww2 the germans used a zeltbahn (poncho) as their cover, it was basicly a huge triangle that you could fasten together and make tents with. thats what the roll of camoflage material is on their backs

Aye, but they're smaller than the actual bashas, meaning its a tight fit for two people to sleep under...

As somone else said you tie off the hood and the water won't go through. And you'd only use it for one person anyway.
