What Slides Will Fit My We G17 Gen 4?

Hey, fairly new to airsoft and haven't upgraded a gun yet. Im looking to upgrade my WE G17 but I’m unsure on what slides will fit on my gun they all seem to be for TM and I’m not sure what is interchangeable. I’m looking for something with a threaded barrel but don’t want to spend a ridiculous amount for it not to fit on my gun.

Am i best buying slide kits or just a slide & barrel?

Any advice is welcome, thank you for the help!

Anything designed for a WE or Armorer Works will fit, nothing else will.

If you just want a threaded barrel, check yours, you may be able to insert a threaded adapter

Okay brilliant thank you! So does Guarder and SAI not fit easily or do they require modification?

Looking for a slide and a threaded barrel for a suppressor, im at work currently but how do i know if my barrel will take an adapter?

Outer barrel on my WE G18 is threaded, pretty sure the 17 is too. In order to fit a supressor you will just need an adaptor .

Oh nice! Unfortunately if i buy a new slide id have to get a different barrel tho? Im looking to replace the slide so thats why im looking for one with a threaded barrel. Or am i just misunderstanding all this stuff haha

No particular reason that you would have to replace the barrel, although lots of slide kits seem to come with a barrel. Iseem to recall that WE offer some alternative slides.

for example. Milspec also stock the adaptor for the supressor.

You don’t normally  need a new slide AND barrel, buying either or big is usually fine.

You can make anything fit anything more or less, but it’s not straightforward, and you have said you’re a novice 

Guarder do make WE specific parts, finding them is tricky though
