What have you made?

What have i made? Well yesterday i made a mess of my chrono by trying to test the output of my trishot. Which didnt end well.

I think i may be in the market for a new chrono...... :D   :(

Found an old ASG tri shot in a bag under some stuff in the garage. Was never a fan of the pistol grip, so took it off and decided to make a stock that suits my “larger than usual “ chip shovels (hands, for those struggling).

MDF core, then built around it with foam pipe cladding and paper maiche to make the skeleton.  Got some wooden packers on the pistol grip, and waiting on some tape and resin to finish it off. Will post a finished pic soon

OK, I'm intrigued by what the finished plan is.  Purely functional, or aesthetic?

Functionality, also a degree of boredom.
I previously had the Franchi SAS and didn’t like the fit of the pistol grip and stock. I replaced that with an m870 which was comfier for me.
The principle for this bodge is that I’ll have the longer curved handle (similar to older shotguns) and the stock length tucks into the crook of my elbow for swift cocking. Which so far when I’ve been manhandling it, is comfortable. Still a bit to do, I’ll let you know if it’s a tremendous success or a complete disaster

The amount of stuff I've made now is quite long, currently working on a more effective target box the amazon box stuff with rag is getting a little beat up lol.

Sheet contsruction with a replacable A4 target sheet at the front, angle back should deflect any bbs that make it through PVC curtain strips i'll afix to the top plate and foam in the bottom tray should work, I'll let everyone know how it goes :)

Looks really good - I've long been planning to make something similar. Is yours to be made from sheet metal? Mine is more likely to be an MDF creation.

Yeah all sheet metal, riveted except for one side which will be bolted for access, I've got a laser cutter so easier to do things out of metal :), MDF would probably help to be less noisy if any hit the sides though.

So have just made myself a custom Pelican 1510 loadout to take with me as my MWS brakes down pretty easy and the gun box I bought was way too big for taking on a train.

Wondering if anyone else would be interested in something like this can accomidate other boxes I just had a spare 1510 laying around un used.

Playing about mounting my Kywi pouches with 1” velcro one-wrap and with some off cut paracord made this quick access TQ* mount. Pull down on the red handle and it is instantly accessible.

Probably 1001 things you can do with one-wrap, need to order a big roll as so handy for strap / cable management.

*don’t buy knock off TQs unelss you clearly mark them FAKE. If you carry a real one get some basic first aid training (hint: very little of it involves tourniquets!)
