What have you made?

I'll generally be in that, or DPM 95 and a TAC-41 (or a tan G36C (or a DMR'd grey Specna SA-02 (or a cut down tan CYMA M516 (or...)))).
I'll be the big fat lad that makes you think... Where the hell did he get kit to wear? or That jacket's a bit tight.

So in all my various dealings and buying and selling ive ended up with about 30 magazines for the kj works m93r rebranded by si. Minor problem is that noone seems to have one. Ive never seen one in the wild and no one wants to buy the mags. Secondly ive always wanted some sort of little sub machinegun as both a sidearm to my lmgs and as a nice light gun for more compact fields. and so I decided to build one. Ive made a new nozzle to work with these mags but it uses glock rocket valves and piston heads. It blows back already but obviously I cant test feeding or fps yet. Either way I didnt really expect to get it this far but it just worked first time I tested it XD. Im probably gonna go for something like a vz23 with a simple metal tube upper. Eventually a beretta mx4 storm may be on the cards since these are beretta mags. We will see how it goes.

Just finished my new sub-£100 ghillie setup and I'm quite pleased with the results. Wanted a boonie + cloak setup to be lightweight, breathable, easy to move in, easy to crawl without picking up the entire forest floor and not getting caught on everything. I'll be using it with m81 woodland BDUs underneath, a pair of OD fingerless gloves and camo paint for my face to keep good airflow around my head to prevent eyepro fogging and keep general sweating to a minimum. The webtex vest I just cable tied directly onto, but the boonie hat I poked a bunch of holes in with an awl and then used the holes to cable tie material onto it. I hate the rather prevalent over-engineered all-over bush suits, so a boonie + cloak setup is far better for me! Also, the webtex vest has elastic veggie loops, so if I'm at a larger or more serious event I can put natural foliage all over it as well.

It's totaled up as such:
- Webtex Concealment Vest ~ £40 (but I already had this buried in my airsoft stuff)

- Novritsch screen camo set ~ £28

- Novritsch raffia ~ £13

- Teesar boonie w/ neck flap - £16

Total ~ £97

Come out and fight like a man... ?

Nice work though?

A while ago at a airsoft site near me,I found 2 used 6 bang training device grenades probably from some police or military training, my original plan was to keep them as paper weights as they are inert, my thoughts then went to, how easy it would be to make them useful again and looking at the mechanism I fiddled on with re drilling the old primer and fuse out and tried a new primer and what was basically useless. I then looked at my bfg (dynatex dominator) to understand how it worked and then the plan changed. To make them into a blank firing grenade, I drew a mock up for a bolt/ firing pin with basically a ball on the end for the impact part. I went to my local hardware store for some bits and cost £4.50, got to work assembling and drilling a whole for the safety pin to go all the way through so the firing pin can not touch the 209 primer even when dropped, firing only occurs when safety is pulled out and grenade is thrown to the ground where it’s hits the rubbed door stop connected to the firing pin and thus detonating.

That looks good - how does the repeater work - does it record and then rebroadcast each message (meaning you are at risk of hearing every message twice) or simply 'pass' it through real time on the same frequency? And if the latter, what unit did you buy?

It's a relay box so it doesn't repeat the message twice, you can get them on amazon

Have you tried this out in the field yet?
