We Scar H. Maple Leaf Bucking

Recently I've changed ML crazy jet barrel and hopup rubber (have mr hop and decepticon) on my WE SCAR H and noticed weird thing. ML rubber is shorter than original WE rubber. Nub position is at the end of contact patch and I guess I'm loosing some hop due to this problem.

To be able to fit the rubber into hopup chamber I had to cut rear part of outer tab.

Anyone managed to find any mod for this? Airseal seems to be fine between nozzle and ML rubber

i too have noticed this problem, funny the dragonuv hop chamber looks identical (possibly is).

couple of possible solutions- one is to move the barrel further back but that would require removing the tabs/refiling slots on the barrel which is a world of annoying problems getting everything squared up, other (which is the plan i'm gonna look into if/when i can be bothered) is a different hop rubber.

Moving the barrel further back will increase the gap at the front even more, I think it may cause air seal and feeding issues. And yea, as you said it would be "pita" to align everything correctly...

I've compared MR HOP and DECEPTICON buckings by dropping bb into chamber at zero hop and noticed that with decepticon bb stops at the start of the bucking patch while with the mrhop bb stops at the middle/end of the patch, still did not have a chance to test the differences in the field.

the front gap is less of an issue, if the hop is being clamped down on all sides properly it shouldn't be leaking out the front anyway.

it's the nozzle-hop seal worries me, and given how the dragonuv has been performing it seems to be the main issue.
