Hi all,

For quite some time now I have owned a pair of Barry Burton resident evil M9 pistols *the second after the first has stopped working*.

The pistol has 2 main issues as far as I can tell,

Problem 1 is that there is a pin that goes through just above the trigger that managed to come free one day during a game and I cannot identify the part number on a blowup of pistol to attempt to track down a replacement piece.

Problem 2 is that the slide gets stuck when returning forward as far as I can tell it feels like it is getting caught on something as it travels, I have since taken out the barrel, and recoil spring and swapped them between the two pistols to see if I could identify what was at fault but the issue happened either way so I wanted to know if there are any common fault points I should be looking for along the slide itself or in the components in the back of the slide.

Pictures attached to show issues I can post more if people think they may be able to identify problems.
First 2 pictures are the fully working, newer, pistol and the last two are the older, jammed / missing parts, pistol for comparison.

Your pin should be in here somewhere:

All available parts for the gun are here:

Maybe part 41 or 43. It's hard to tell.

The slide going not going forward can be a lubrication issue or something is broken inside that's preventing proper function. The only common fault I know on these is the tiny full auto selector piece loves to break.

Thanks for the reply, will likely send an email into them to narrow down this part, visually it doesn't appear to be a 41 or 43, did try research online and both seem to be more like screws than pins, as for the slide going forward issue it seems to be getting caught right as the two guide sliders on the side of the barrel assembly try to tilt upward, whenever I slowly clear the jam there is a slight 'click' sound s the parts become free.

I did give the gun a good clean and lubrication ever took a lot of the internal parts out and put them back in. I did try the same slide with both barrel assemblies and recoil springs and it happens either way so as far as I can tell it may be the slide frame itself so I may order a new one to see if that fixes that issue.

Photo attached for the sake of it showing the pin that I took out of the functioning pistol.
