We Europe biohazard M9 slide problems

When I fire the gun the slide doesn't return back to position, it's out by about 5mm which prevents the gun from firing, I have to pull the slide back and push in place to fire again . Can anyone help please

I have noticed a slightly similar situation with my WE M9A1.

It fires perfectly fine but if I pull the slide back about half way and let it go gently it won't return fully as yours does.

I can easily push it into place with my thumb.

I don't know what causes it but take the slide off and check the pins which stick out above the slide runner?
