WE and KJW compact Sigs

Just wondered if their metal P228 and P229 have a snappier recoil or are more gas efficient than their full size P226s.

Given the shorter slide. 

I believe both KJW and WE produce reasonably reliable Sig P226s. Are their compact versions of equaly quality?

Just remembered the compacts have smaller grips and therefore mags so forget the question about gas efficiency..

Nope, buddy had the kjw 228, nice bit of kit & took regular mags, inc to 226 mags.

most "compacts" are just a shorter barrel/foreend, obviously g26 etc are different.
