So I've pick up a SR-25 bought an NPAS for it but somehow I've managed to strip the head of a screw in order to get the nozzle out and try to put said NPAS in, I ordered a replacement BCG and have also managed to strip the screw head on that one in the same location. Has anyone come across this? either I can't unscrew things (manage to maintain my WE 416C) or the screws are just made of really bad pot metal

Vfc screws are known to be like cheese out on a hot day. See if Waldo Dynamics does an SR25 plug, they’re great quality. That’s once you get the screw out, of course

Is this the ones that hold the gasplug in on the top of the BCG? If so, they're known for being soft while also being loaded with locktite.

You need to heat the allen bolt up to break the locktite, then use a perfectly sized allen key to twist it out. Impact tools also help if you have one.
