The most worthwhile update you can get is reading through the pages of this thread so you can evaluate if this seller is truly someone you want to deal with.
TLDR: Do you really want to disclose personally identifiable information to an unhinged character who might use it against you if there was a dispute where you found another fault with this gun, after he threatened to kill another forum member?
