There are some decent VFC pistols but VFC did a lot of damage to their reputation releasing absolute crap a while ago. And the occasional recent releases have their problems but some people are just stuck in the past with their opinion.

Their Glocks seem to be descent but yeah a lot of their other pistol ranges are sub par at best.

Which were bad? I have a load of VFC Glocks and aside from the 42 they're all good.

I think some people had poor impressions of the PPQ and PDP based on a couple of Youtubers.

Both of those are quite good after some maintenance.

I see. I only have VFC Glocks and a Strike SMP. All the Glocks are great except the 42 which is a bit.. meh. I want to like it but it's just not great.

My others are great though, and i often run them on CO2. My 18 and 45 take abuse and are great.

I think you're both confusing modification, with maintenance.

I was deep in a flu so probably my fault for not being clear. I meant that you just field strip, clean the factory grease off, relube with Superlube, then reassemble.

Guns run much better afterwards, yes including my TMs.

Fair enough but multiple VFC models require modification to work and still will never be good guns. For the money they charge they should be better performing guns than TM (if they were officially exported TM would be significantly cheaper than VFC).

Tbh I import everything so it's much cheaper. You save a lot by buying the unbranded versions, since you're mostly paying the Umarex tax for brand licenses there.
