Value of tm ak47 help please

Hi, I have a mate who has a hardly used 10 year old tm ak47 with original box and bits, he suspects the battery is knackered but has lost the charger, what's its value please?

80 or so quid or so sounds fair to me.

In Japan the price of a new one is about 130-140 pounds. TM's casting is generally good so I would not worry about zinc pest on the metal parts or the plastic degrading and becoming brittle. the age does not mean much since the old AK47 AEG has not changed since it's release in 1994. Plenty of people have owned decade old TMs with no major issues.

My TM M4 was about that old when I bought it. New hop rubber and a general clean up/service and you'll be fine.
