OK, technical question for you: I had a repeat of my previous "no firing" issue.

Last time, a strip of the Gearbox revealed that it seemed to be a dirty trigger switch issue which resolved after I cleaned it a bit.

So on Sunday, mid-skirmish, my gun stopped firing again with the same symptoms. I trudged back to the SZ and stripped the GB down and cleaned the switch as much as I could. That sorted it and it worked for the rest of the day.

I assume it is the contacts getting dirty from arcing?

So, how to resolve?:

1. Clean and Lube the existing switch with switch grease
2. Replace switch
3. Fit a MOSFET with braking.
4. Combination of 2 of the above
5. All of the above

6. Any other bright ideas?

Discuss!

what battery?

what gun? (if other than your CA M15A4)

it may just be a dodgy/worn out switch, i would be tempted to just go with number 2

Yep, just the M15A4

It's a 9.6v NiMH.

Yeah, I've ordered one. Will also get some switch grease for when I install it. See how it goes.

No love for the Mosfets?

With a 9.6v NiMH you *shouldnt* need one.

Nothing to stop you though if you wanted to fit one ;) I made one for my mp5k then again I am running a 25c lipo :)
