Just received 5x SSX23 magazines for my mk23. But why did I buy them if I already have 5 STTI magazines that work just fine?

Because I hate pins, and I am moving to propane so I don't want to deal with mk23 magazine maintenance on the regular with those goddamn pins! The new Novritsch mags have screws in the baseplate instead, much like a hi-capa, 1911 or p226 mag (guess which other pistols I tend to use...)

What I love about FDE guns is how nothing is ever the same colour. My VFC Scar-H is the same. Even the bare bones parts are different colours, never mind the accessories.

I'll get some when I have better lighting - everything just arrived today but happy with everything.

The stocks need the spring and ping from a donor stock. Little bit of filing requiried to get the pin from a TM MWS M4A1 stock to fit properly in the holes.

Worth noting also that the Front sight requires a Front sight post so I'm going to have to salvage one from somewhere - but I might just sell it and the barrel extension on and stick to a 10 inch version.

Ok - I get it now.

Slapped into one of my guns (ICS M4, Stock 18:1 gears, Perun Hybrid with AB disabled). No modifications needed - straight drop-in.

Impressive. Most Impressive.

Been spamming the trigger fairly hard on an 11.1v for giggles and the motor is cold, as is the wiring and the battery. Performance on 7.4 and 11.1 is fairly similar in Semi.

Can't comment on long term reliability (obvs), but as a drop-in upgrade for a bone stock gun, it certainly seems to give a trigger responsiveness and ROF performance that will keep 95% of players very happy.

Regarding battery it's great when you suddenly find that your battery lasts twice as long as it did on a full charge. Also, as the torque is so incredible, you then start to think about lower gear ratios and just using 7.4v!

Yes - I think 7.4v with a change of gear ratios is probably a good way to go.

It arrived today, but after a quick check over it was whisked away and wrapped , so got to wait now !

Still , that gives me time to collect a few bits for it , M/L barrel etc

250mm for the inner barrel right up to the end of the outer.

GM 3.5 nozzle, but take the seal off the back of the stock nozzle (GM rear seal isn't compatible with DE BCG) for being able to fit an NPAS - NPAS doesn't fit in stock DE nozzle.

Jaeger or FEDA for NPAS - former is easier to get hold of in the UK, latter has some QC issues as of late.

Bavtac/Jaeger nubs aren't compatible with DE hop arm, unless you want to overhop .48's with no hop applied ofc.

MR hop rubbers contact patch get eaten by the nozzle on both stock and GM, so something flamingo or similar (which is a bugger as flamingo are flimsy).

Did it have a black or silver BCG? If its black (V2), the mags are good, if its silver (V1) you'll want to get something else.
