Yup, it's exactly what it looks like...
Got an odd idea to mould it to the various DPM shapes (copying my windproof smock), rattlecan a black base, cover the black pattern, rattlecan brown, cover etc, etc, etc.
Wish me luck.
Gonna try it on a two tone M82, if it's a success a two tone G36C is next.

New pistol courtesy of @TheFull9 because 1911s are my kryptonite. Cycles beautifully and in my room easily gets through an entire mag on a single fill.
I have swapped out the hop unit and barrel assembly for the setup that was in my other 1911 that hates cycling (ML hop unit with a nineball barrel and ML 50 degree autobot rubber and ML I-key) and will give it a run this weekend. If it runs well, I'll be running it more often because very few people run 1911s and they're incredibly beautiful pistols!
Some things never change. My first loadout was an m14 and 1911 because I watched Black Hawk Down as a teenager and thought that one scene was amazing. Still running m14s (I own 2 and want to get a 3rd) and will still run 1911s

New shadow foam so that I can fit both rifles into my Peli case, Maple Leaf hop rubber and nub to see how they run in the recoil MK18 .. and I think that’s it actually.

Few upgrades from AK2M4, delivered next day as promised. Perun and XT 22TPA for the boy's G36. Another XT 22TPA, plus a ZCI hop unit and ML bucking for my Double Eagle.

Not a night and day difference over the stock motor, I stupidly didn't do a direct before and after comparison but the trigger response is a bit quicker. Suspect they are both in the same ballpark windings wise. Magnets on the stock motor are no match for the new XT though. Expect it will prove itself when I run it on 3S instead of my current 2S.

Here’s hoping. The vented can and mini fan on the commutator should work nicely seeing as the Eagle has that vented motor plate for airflow.
And if it doesn’t I’ll have a nice hand warmer for winter skirmishes.

It's been a long time coming, But I bought what I consider my holy grail of guns since I first started back in 2016.
Daytona AK105 with my WE Desert Eagle, ran it at my local CQB site, they may not be what people consider Meta but god damn is it fun firing these two guns

It's funny, because it's true.
Side note - when I was younger and I got my first credit card, I managed to rack up £27k of credit card debt. You know you have a problem when the letters from the CC company stop being "you've gone a bit over your limit, so we raised it", to "you've gone over your credit limit, GIVE US BACK OUR MONEY!!!!". Fun times.
