The 'What have you just bought' Thread

So after completely forgetting about this pistol for about 10 years after longing for it for ages: I was Googling WA SVI’s, trying to find a price for mine to sell at an airsoft boot sale last weekend, and went down a small rabbit hole of other WA pistols - setting off multiple old memories of pre VCRA days.

Then at said boot sale, a van pulls up directly opposite me and what do you think they have…

WA Colt Delta Elite.

I think it was a sign that I had to buy it.

Bought a Perun, G&G ETU for my rifle as the old one kinda broke.

This one has much more modes in the settings which I've been playing around with. Looking forward to testing it tomorrow.

 
My VFC LAR/FAL DX version landed in UK in late April, customs had it for 5 weeks. After the long and painful waiting, it finally arrived this week.

Pretty confident it's the first DX FAL arrived in UK or even Europe. Shame that customs wanted to have more fun with it before I could get hold of

The difference between the normal version and DX is the special wooden box, proper trades and every part of metal made of steel. Might be a bit overpriced but I'll pay for that as a super FAL fan

About £100 worth of L119A1 parts:

- Flash hider

- Stock pad

- Barrel extension

Oh and an LA-5 style battery box!

Looking forward to them arriving as the build continues to take shape :D  

 
Just went to chrono it and a fly buzzed through the chrono aperture ?

Hopping .2 on green gas.

I believe the Umarex/VFC is fitted with an NPAS as standard in Europe, so I might break down this beauty and see if we can't tweak that fps a little. 

Then again I may just leave it for now and see how she performs out of the box. 

It's a joy to shoot in my barn range, with a very satisfying recoil. 

Itching to take it out on the field.

A speedloader held at a 45 degree angle is as good as I got with my VFC 416.  I bought a 3D printed adapter off eBay that maybe helps a tiny bit

 
Ordered this tail switch, this bit holder and this bit holder from AliExpress.

The smaller one goes into my kit as a complement to my leatherman (along with a few selected 6mm bits), the larger one goes into my field toolbox.

Tail switch will go on my repro m600p because I like the option to have both permanent and momentary on functions.

Now, onto some tracers..
