@Mad-Althat's a nice paint job on the SMG 8.

I managed to pick up a pair of mechanix fast fit gloves for £12 posted from amazon

Time to rotate the optics. The Vortex Crossfire red dot is moving from the MWS to the MP7, and will be replaced by this; Vortex Crossfire II 1-4x24 scope, which will sit in the HAO Industries Geissele clone mount.

Have to say the mount, like their rails, is really high quality. Looking forward to switching these up this evening.

Not really about what I bought, but WHERE I bought it.
I ordered two 40mm,  72 round Moscarts from actionhobbies.co.uk
Never ordered from them before, but ran through trustpilot and they have good reviews.

This morning I got a phone call from them, apologising. The Moscarts are out of stock in that size. I can wait for them to come back in stock OR they can send me the next size up, at no extra charge, which I will receive in time for this weekend's game.
Great customer service!
Shout out to Paul at action hobiies.

Just bought a FAB Defense pistol grip for my MWS Block 1. I couldn't take too much more of the original grip so it had to go. Will be replacing the buttstock too.

Also bought some stickers to "number my mags" ?

Agreed. Paul helped me a couple of years ago when I wanted to source a traditional, bog standard, no frills Cyma AK47. He came through when everyone else was out of stock and was really helpful.

Yeah, honestly one of the most comfortable pistol grips I have held with and without gloves. Thanks for the recommend.?

Here's how she's looking so far

I think I said before that I agree about the original grip. So uncomfortable. I found changing the trigger guard helped a lot too. Magpul ones are only a few quid and fit nicely, provided you remove a bit of material from them.

After annoying a few folks on the electric gun section, bit the bullet and bought...

TM Devgru, 2 batteries and 4 PTS mags from the folks at firesupport.

Only mod is the lipo conversion and she will stay stock (forgive the carpet folks, the misses loves the colours)

The one thing I did not realise was the length of the PTS mags

(Mag on the left is for my G&G scar)

I'm running an old Viper Hong Kong police vest (the one with the elastic straps that go between your legs and stop the vest riding up) and the I can only get one mag in a pouch comfortably now.

Looks like it's new vest/plate carrier time lol...

Love my TM Devgru and stock they're still awesome. I also run the PTS mags and never really thought about how long they were ? I normally use Esstac mid-length pouches for them, but also have a TMC Spiritus clone chest rig, and they fit in that just fine.

One thing to think about spending a bit extra on is a decent sling; Blue Force VCAS, Ferro Slingster, Magpul etc. Don't trust keeping your £600 RIF safe on a £5 sling
