The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Been after a KDU for years, really over the moon. Only downside is its not compatible with previous gens of PRC 152, although the new 152 builds from TRI seem to be awesome. 12 watt, they are working with real PTTs, no issues with headsets like COMTACs that have dynamic mics.

It was for about .2 of a second, it's no biggie :P It does make watching shows I used to really enjoy like Always Sunny difficult though.. if you've seen it, you know what I mean.

Not sure who that moderator comment is aimed at. Just gone back 4 pages and there is one stock image in all of the posts, and that I guess was because it hadn't arrived yet. 

But yeah, thread needs renaming

That looks like overkill for an inbuilt plate carrier cooling system 

 
Few things over the past month...

- 10 x TAG AFG6 grenades and 10 x TAG FBG6 grenades (only one of each pictured as most have been used =P)

-Poseidon barrel for my tippmann m4

-2x Raven hi capa green gas mags and 1 x CO2 Raven mag for my EMG john wick hi capa (panic purchase from on site shop due to all my pistol mags leaking when i went to fill them..  so now searching for fill valves for Raven and Vorsk mags)

-Patches for my stargate loadout (have the Earth symbol patch on order, but not arrived yet)

- second hand Walther scope to fit on one of my snipers (most likely WA2000) good condition, and previous owner had made a mesh lens protector/killflash

RPK from CYMA. Got a drum mag as well. Planning on cutting down the outer barrel and if exposed the inner barrel for a Rhodesian SAS loadout. Should look cool. Any tips on barrel cutting minus using a metal work hacksaw?

Make sure if you cut the inner barrel you either buy a new correct length one, or crown the cut down one with the correct tool; otherwise your BB’s will he be randomly deflected about by the end. I did it on a rifle and took me ages to work out what was wrong ?

 
My first pew pew! Been playing with it in the garden and consistently doing 335fps on the chrono, hopefully it being an Ares I've got one of the rare ones that work ?

You really do fall down a rabbit hole after buying your first gun...... batteries, chargers, sights, mags....
