New sight for the Vector
You like ? I’ve been umming and arring about one my self , really like the look of it and the idea behind it but due too the price and not finding any independent  ‘trustable’ reviews of the Leupold was holding off ?

Nuprol speedloader (odin style one), One tigris fold-able lower face mask and some more abbey red gas for the ICS ble to chug along on. Oh and some The draft club .28 bb's

View so far:

275grams for the red dot and 400 grams for the D-EVO, so not heavy at all. My SRS sight is 395grams, so whilst this is heavier, it’s not much more for a multi-mag scope.

An EOTech holosight, by comparison, varies from approx 350-400grams

You can use either on their own obviously, but the D-EVO is designed to be used with this red- dot so lines up well underneath the viewing window.

Setting up is straightforward, you have two sights to align, recomended by Leupold is set up the red dot first, then align the D-EVO.  Personally, I found it easier to do the other way around, zero the D-EVO first, then as the red dot has no magnification it was easier for me to zero that, but I don’t think it really matters, as they are iindependant sights.

Using it is excellent, I quickly got used to flicking my view from the 1xmag red-dot to the 6xmag D-EVO, it’s a really natural feeling, so much so that I didn’t have to make any effort right from the off.

Build quality is pretty good, no real issues. Two separate solid screw mounts for Picatinny rails, nice dark grey hard finish with all trade marks. Using the zero adjusters with a big screw driver scratched them immediately, but only slightly. Next time I’ll tape it up.

Optic quality is great, recticles look good.

No idea on battery life, but as only the red-dot needs a battery, should be OK.

The only real drawbacks are the the price ($197) and the lack of available B.B. protection (not a prob for me target shooting)

Don’t bode well for the forum , he’s supposed to be a ‘step above’ the rest of us reprobates and he can’t even find magazines on line ! ?

Redwolf have the boxes of king arms mids in and Zero has G&Ps in stock .?

Doubling down on my only pistol.

TM Strike Warrior has some hop problems, so rather then just get those fixed, might as well upgrade it whilst it opened up.

Just bought a Maple leaf Hop unit, Wheel and Decepticon 50 degree rubber.

Hope it all actually fits inside the detonics slide! Cannot find anybody else who has done this to a Strike Warrior. I also hope the Maple Leaf parts will play ball with my new Laylax Nineball tightbore barrel...

Do you use them as is, or flat hop them?

cheers

Mine is as-is.

I've played loads of games with it now and haven't been unhappy with how it performs so far to warrant messing about with it.

Using the standard purple nub too.
