Just drove down to Combat South in Portsmouth (about 1.45 hours each way but worth it on a nice sunny day near the sea) and got me my first RIF! and charger and lipos and bbs and 3 extra mags ?, took me half a year longer to buy my first one than i wanted due to work etc but hey good things come to those who wait

- Hephaestus recoil kit for PTS Masada

Still waiting for the PTS aluminium rail to arrive, should be here tomorrow. Probably a month for the rest of the stuff.

and that concludes my spending for a while. Well, until I see something I want, I suppose. I have an addiction. Help.

I will let you know A friend of mine told me about it and said it absolutely transforms the gun. Somehow increases the recoil and RoF  (to about 1000rpm) simultaneously. There is also a video on YouTube of the kit by Hephaestus if you are interested

Well it's nothing magic, that extra recoil spring is shortening the travel of the bolt a fair bit and also offering less dampening than the stock spring; doing that will have exactly the described effects.  I'll look that up though cheers.

Hi, it's an 80's (I think) Choate folding stock for a Remington 870 shotgun. It's kind of tacticool from back when tacticool wasn't a thing!

Yeah nobody quite gets the SPAS 12 quite right, except for Lost World: Trespasser, where you can throw the SPAS 12 away and pick up a different gun

Well, the kit arrived today and took about 3 minutes to install, no issues at all.

It definitely ups the recoil and RoF, as expected! So far, I am very happy with it, it'll definitely be staying installed. The recoil now reminds me of my old GHK G5 with RATech steel bolt

I will probably do some testing later to see how it impacts the gas efficiency, how much weight has been added to the bolt, etc

Now, if you'll excuse me, I am going to go back to shooting it ?

You'd get a pretty penny for that folding spas stock.

Someone advertised one on here a few months back and it got the asking price within a couple of hours.

Like rocking horse shit that has been chewed by hen's teeth... Apparently
