THE TM MWS thread

where can i get one in the uk!? iv wrecked my ring trying the hammer + screw driver way
Ouch! Never use a hammer and screwdriver on your ring!

I'm sure your doctor could have prescribed something less invasive. ??

Regards

Phaha well I popped to my dad's to see if he could sort my ring out, we used a log tube that failed, so then we tried hot air and a wood mallet, soon got it shifted, then deeper in its another ring so hot air and a home made prong tool sorted it in the end,no need for Dr's ;)

I don't even have an mws, but scrolling through the forum on my phone it previews part of the last reply, the text above was what I saw?, needless to say I had to click on it to get some context, otherwise I'd have probably had bad dreams tonight lol

If you tried your friends bolt and it works fine, then maybe buy a new bolt? ?

Try following a YouTube guide and disassembling the bolt, then you can check to see if anything is out of place. What exactly is going wrong?
The MWS is currently not capable of emptying one mag. It usually manages at least 2 reloads on one gas refill. FPS is way down. have rebuilt bolt several times but no luck so far...

@Davegolf any sign of the Super Nubs being in stock?  I am assuming its you that runs that business?  Please correct me if I am wrong...

A call to all MTR16 owners and anyone in the know… can anyone tell me the name of the real steel AR the TM based the rifle on, and possibly the name of the ambidextrous bolt release system in the real steel world too? Thx!

The real world equivalent of the bolt release is called a PDQ lever. It's the main thing that been drawing me to the MTR

hi guys. i have just bought an mws. i am very pleased with the gun exept one thing. The charging handle seems a bit loose and wobbly, specially when is pulled. i would prefer to be more tight. is there any way i can do that, by changing with a better part?

Also, what do you guys use for flaslights and optical? any advice for some decent ones?

thanks

Hi ?

I think that goes for most charging handles. I know mine are like that.

Regards

I got my MWS some time ago, must have been a freshly hatched one, was quite small ...

Read all 228 pages here (yes really) and found nothing about small MWS (except for some guys rebuilding theirs into short ones)

Didn't want to send it back, so tried something:View attachment 82144

IT WORKED (insert evil scientist laugh )

As @Shamalsays, most charging handles are like that. I replaced mine with the PTS Radian and that's fairly loose too. They're toys at the end of the day pal.
