THE TM MWS thread

There’s a chap  selling his MWS on here. Check out the gas guns classified.

Appreciate the link but for the sake of not much more I would rather buy new - Though I would change my mind for a reasonably priced GBB Vector

no such thing as a reasonably priced GBB Vector anymore, you wont find a nice one with mags for under £800 now

hello

just got a MWS cqbr, and have been searching through the topic on using propane. is it worth trying to mod the mags anymore seems like a lot of hit and miss on if it works or not and also it the mod might mess with my consistancy?

and if it's not worth it should i go for nuprol(green/red/black) or abbey(144a, pred ultra)? not to worried about fps as i have a angrygun bolt with mpa, just looking for price to performance.

and if i should do the mag mods do i need to do both the internal tube cutting and oring mod?

PS: already have a AI adaptor for propane as i use it for pistol and my kwa mp7.

thanks for any help.

I have seen a few on here along with your recent acquisition - they are really nice - for the right one £800 with mags is sort off ok - maybe - as the TM M4 gbb is approx £780 shipped to me with 6 mags and a nuprol case.

The issue I would have is knowledge - at the moment I wouldn’t know a wrong one.

Apologies for going off thread folks

would love to swap kriss vector for mws just so i can compare it with the das gbls.

Hi! Glad you found the thread helpful! Nice, loving the FSP builds!

Can people with DMR maintain a proper 1.6-2 joule when it is cold 0 - 5 * C

prometheus 6.00 barrel, does anyone have experience with 6.00 in a GBBR? I want to raise FPS though I must also be able to hit from a distance :)

Turned it into a short boi cqb monster.
Same! Kinda...

And so the build begins! Must decide on what to do. Need to replace the buffer tube also, bit of a weird one as it doesn't screw in more than 3 revolutions. Not even sure if it is a TM tube

Wanted to use the MTR as a base for a while now

Wonder where that came from!?

Shouldnt be difficult to get a genuine buffer.

Whats the game plan?

Looks familiar, doesn't it ?

Probably 7 inch barrel & m lok handguard combo, PDW type stock, suppressor to cover the remaining inner barrel and a Magpul MVG. Might change the pistol grip too. Basically, the opposite of a normal MTR!

All still up in the air for now though!

Fit it with a full HERA real steel kit

Alright Gents!

just got my MWS a couple days ago and proceeded to install the magpul BAD lever. Was told by Kakasi on IG that it would work with no modification. It did not. Im assuming that as was stated waaay earlier in this thread that the lever is too heavy for the magazine spring to push up. What was done was to wrap some tape under the bolt catch. I took it a step further and super glued some material under it. Its about two credit cards thick of material for those about to ask how thick it should be. The bolt catch now works 110% of the time. Attached are pics for those wishing to install the BAD lever. Youre welcome
