Some advice on masks for people that wear glasses.

I did my first QCB a few weeks back and loved it, i want to start getting my own gear and the first and most important part is the mask.

the one i got with the rental pack was ok but it did push my glasses into my face a bit so i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good set of goggles or full face mask that are suitable.

What's your price range. Eye pro is the one thing you should never cheap on, and I'm afraid you'll be frightened away by what I would recommend...

 
Mate i like my eyes, i maybe blind as a bat with out my glasses but i want to keep my sight.

As i'm new to the sport i throught i'd sort out the most important bit of kit first (turning myself into a weekend warrior comes next lol), as for price you cant put a price on it can you.

 
As above - best not to buy cheap - unless you're going with mesh.

If you want goggles/mask over mesh though - "Save Phace" seem to be the best, I've heard that they're among the best for players who need glasses too, as the shape allows a little more room between the eyes and the mask.

Even with mesh it's not a good idea to go for something cheap. Pot metal will warp after being shot and sometimes render the whole thing useless after a gap opens up in it.

And very true you get what you pay for.

 
I use a DYE I4 mask. Technically a paintball mask, but amazing. No fog whatsoever, plenty of room for any of my glasses, the fan actually works to keep fog off glasses, many customization options, etcetera. Pricy though; my kit cost about $300 for the mask, fan, extra lense, and visor.

Unfortunately Amazon UK doesn't have the all-in-one option, but those should give you plenty of options:

Who told you that you can't? I was told for years by specsavers that I could not get contacts, I went to an independent opticians', and they told me that what specsavers were not saying to me was "[specsavers] don't stock obscure brands of contact lenses for conditions outside the norm". I now wear them daily.

Don't take false hope from this, but be sure you get a 2nd opinion.

EDIT:

Furthermore, you only need a contact lens in your dominant shooting eye.

Compared to a mesh, or a bog standard mask from ebay or whatever, they are pretty expensive for a beginner.

Worth ebery penny though, and of course there are far more expensive masks on the market, but I didn't want to be 'that guy' who recommends a £300 mask

True but then those "bog standard" ones on ebay often aren't worth the money.

I realise that a lot of new airsofters are young and not earning but safety and protection are the things you really shouldn't scrimp on and $60 is NOT a huge price to pay for eye and face protection. You don't need to go to the lengths of a Devtac Ronin mask but you should at least have enough respect for yourself to want to spend more than a tenner on protecting yourself. Equally, as much as you can airsoft on a budget, generally it's NOT a cheap hobby. If you start off questioning spending £40 on a piece of essential kit then the cost escalation once you get into it will scare the bejesus out of you!

 
I'm also short sighted in on eye and long sighted in the other, I've tried contacts and they gave me head aches so I went back to wearing glasses, still looking into my options.

 
I wear glasses so have also been looking for goggles which will be safe.

I have bought a pair of Goliath OTG Goggles from specs4sports.co.uk

These are designed for motorcycle use and seal well around the edges as well as being made from shatterproof polycarbonate. I used a little anti-fog on the inside (as well as on my glasses) and have had no issues at all.
