Player Radio for Okto Eight Milsim

This is a base station radio made by some of the guys on the MPF rebel team for the 2015 games.

Its based around a Baofeng radio which we have licenced frequencies for.

Obviously this is home-made, what base-model did you use from Baofeng?

Any chance of a video of it working?

Its got a UV5R inside. Not finished yet so too early for a video. The builder needs to add a handset.

I'm liking all of this even more... Any chance of having some photos of your radio equipment stripped down, i.e. the radios in their standard commercial form as well as in your MilSim get-up?

I really do like the idea of turning the UV5R into a base-station unit.

Well the base station is made by a player who goes to our milsims and he isnt a member on here, so we dont have any more info than the photo already posted.

The other stuff is a mock-up comms system - the working part is a Baofeng UV5 connected into its respective PTT and mic/headset arrangement.
