New RIF chrono'd hot on her first outing. What can I do (EC MCX)

I thought dry firing an AEG isn't a good idea as it can damage the gearbox casing. Something to do with the BB slowing down how quickly the air leaves the cylinder and so slowing the piston so it doesn't hit the end of the cylinder so hard

Ehhh... The BB will at best cushion it minimally. E&C gearbox shells are pretty decent in terms of build quality, it's unlikely a few hundred rounds of dry firing will cause any fracturing or cracks.

The easiest and most sure set way would be to just fit a new spring. It's a tenner, fifteen quid max.

Looks nice. Did you get dinged by customs when it got into the country? IIRC the spring is a quick change under the picatinny rail that the stock attaches to.
yeah did a big order so it was about £60 if I remember, worth it though. Exterior finish and build quality is a beauty and it has all the right trades.

Gonna get a chrono, spam a couple hundred rounds see if I can cool the spring slightly, failing that I'll put a weaker one in
