Got this classic army m249 a few months ago and just checked the battery connector to find this?
Any idea what it is? And why did it exist? 🙃

Matt.

It is indeed a micro deans, but why would anyone use one as the battery connector in a CA M249? There should be plenty of room for a larger one.

Haha. Thanks guys. That’s what I was thinking. I have a top M60 std i got from the same chap and it’s also that connector.
Is there anyway I can get a adapter to deans or Tamiya for it as I’m no good at re wiring

Surely you can just remove the current mini deans and resolder a normal sized deans adapter to it?

Fella probably didn't want people asking him for batteries lmao, quick resolder to deans and it should be golden
