I’ve just ordered a maple leaf gbb hop unit for my WE 5.2 hi capa. I noticed though that the standard hop unit has a removable stop on the lower part that has to be unscrewed to remove the inner barrel from the outer. The pics of the maple leaf this looks moulded into the unit so I’m wondering if I can physically fit the hop unit and still get the inner barrel into the outer.
Has anyone done this upgrade and if so do I need to mod the new hop unit?
