What I learnt over the course of this thread was that the KJ tolerances are off TM spec JUST enough to be problematic when trying to replace almost anything.
if I could have started again, I’d have sold my SSP as it was and bought a TM 5.1
I have also encountered a working SSP that was almost as good as any of my capas in terms of chucking a pellet in a straight line, maybe not as snappy but they’re not all dogshit it seems

Crazy. I'm absolutely broken by it, it's perfect in so many ways. I don't think I can ever not upgrade the frame again.
May have another little bit coming for it as well and I think that will very much be the end of this build.
I do have the spares asembled though so another project to work on (yay). It won't be crazy in what goes on but how I run it should be.

I was super sceptical about the frames. Seemed like a huge outlay for almost no potential gain… Now all four are on adv frames.
I can’t remember if I showed you this? Trying to get a sculptor grip template sorted to get CF grip tapes done properly. This one was cut by hand and is far from perfect

Here I am getting the names wrong. It’s the CCT grip, got a couple off Kyle to put the CF wrap on.
He’ll convince me to change to Alu at some point on this and the matched blue/black Speedcat, just not yet
Dont suppose you’ve tried the new Airtac grip?
