Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

It's part of the LARP and - let me get my glasses 🤓👌 - verisimilitude of playing Airsoft innit.

I will say that god's angriest GBBR with a loudener is still usually quieter than a suppressed firearm of equivalent calibre. You can absolutely make them loud enough to give people pause when they're pushing you though, and recoil is fun so I want it.

Flaming pig + VFC M249 is a great combo for loudness 😂

Wanting a louder gun I can kind of understand for the wtf was that? moments. Also even small calibre guns fitted with a surpressor are still far louder than an airsoft gun

I tried out using a suppressor with the front off last game day as a loudener.

First life of the first game after getting it set up at the range, I tripped over a twig and the printed adapters holding it together snapped...

Don't get me wrong, people are free to do whatever they want to tart up their guns, afterall as the saying goes variety is the spice of life. It's just when they try to justify it with nonsense I can't help laughing

The duck guns come to mind when I read this. 8-round super fast bursts that ends up sounding like quack :ROFLMAO:.

had a couple in my last game, just makes it easier to get thier direction/location

Embrace the LARP. We all do it to have fun.

Electric recoil guns are no different. Added weight, cost and complexity. But just makes it more fun for those that enjoy that.

Oh I do. I see no difference between us and people who do d&d style events. My point is that if you want to add something to your gun, use a certain bit of kit or play in a certain way because it's cool or fun then go for it and that to me is all the reason anyone needs. I just think it's silly when claims are made that something is more realistic when the truth is they aren't
