Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

Not so much a dreamer, though he is rather optimistic, but more classic example of someone not knowing what gun they are selling. :)

I hope my recent ad isnt a dreamer though. Ill be lowering the price if it doesnt sell but id have thought £70 less than RRP for a nearly new FAMAS would be okay?

Terrible price, I'll give you a tenner...

Price is fine, especially with some extra mags. Although be prepared to haggle due to the low fps. Famas gearboxes suck to work on due to their weird V1 parts being a mix of v2, v7 etc.

Yes this is why im selling it tbh. I dont mind V2 and V3 gearboxes and im actually working on an old CA SA58 just now. When i changed the spring in the FAMAS i took one look at it and decided it wasnt for me lol. If it dont get any traction when the ad runs out ill sell for dirt cheap as a boneyard item.

They're definitely an acquired taste. I personally have been tempted by them so many times but always stop myself because I know if/when they break down it'll sit in a corner for a long time before I can be bothered to fix it ? Now I'm eyeing up the GBBR as it'll be easier to work on...

Wants retail for what I assume is an incomplete parts kit BecAuz It'S RaRE.

i'll have you know... it's SUPER RARE.
So rare I ordered one from retail 4 weeks ago!!!

W&S still produce them, marketing them as rare is incredibly wrong! People just don't look in the right places.

Yeah I thought so too, 99% sure you should only be able to change the gas piston not the other thing???

I'm pretty sure these come with the spring and guide if this is a complete kit? Confusing.

I know W&S sell a steel bolt set but that's just the bolt and nothing else that comes with that...

Best bit is though, these aren't rare... You can legit buy them from Asian retailers for cheaper even with shipping!!

@EvilMonkeeDidn't these come as one piece too? as in the only thing you screwed on was the silver gas plug? This looks like the stock bolt?

You are indeed correct, I'm wondering when this was originally bought now

You could buy it as individual parts, wasn't advisable to, but you could. (MLEMart did it as individual bits)

Explains that then, surprised you could do that! I bought mine from shooter combat gear a few weeks back, they sold out quick as W&S Make small batches of their kits

Universal Airsoft Ltd is not registered with Companies House; it does not exist.
As limited companies must be registered with Companies House, I pointed this out to him; his response was:

”The reason this is not registered with companies house is because it is £50”

Lol, maybe he'd like us to pay that for him too ?

Which is ⅘ of bugger all compared to the fines he'll get when caught
