LCT teasing a FAL

Think you might be quite close with that estimate. Expect it's RRP to be higher than the RPD and SVD. Assume they will do a polymer furniture model too.

They could use very similar parts to the PKP.
I’m excited for it because it should be full steel and that wood looks beautiful but I really hope they’ve learnt from the PKP and made it more standardised (Like the A&K) so parts are easy to replace/upgrade

The LCT PKM has finally been released

Looks nice but there's not really much of a difference internally to an A&K and will no doubt retail at double the cost of said A&K 😂

Nice to have the option of a premium PKM. Imagine this will follow the example of their PKP and be heavier than the real steel.

Now that brings a difficult decision, I was about to buy the LCT M60 E4 but that PK is very pretty!
Would probably be more tempted by the PKM. Something about the cardboard drum mag in the M60 makes me uneasy even if it is accurate to the real McCoy.

Also the PKM being released this month means we might get a glimpse of their FN FAL at the MOA show in December.

Agreed. the cardboard insert was part of what held me back from the M60 as well. I have been looking at getting some plastic sheet and heating and folding something to replace the cardboard.

I already run a RPK16 which is an excellent 'pocket' LMG so the big PK is right up my street.

I know nothing about this particular application - but that sounds very much like a sheet of 2mm Kydex would help. Very easily thermoformed with a heat gun etc, cheap sheets on aliexpress.

Is it not something that could be 3D Printed? I havent seen it myself so unsure.
It probably could but I haven't done it before and don't have a 3D printer. I have vac formed / shaped prototypes back in the day from plastic sheet so will probably go with what I know. It doesn't need to be structural or even strong it just needs to stop the dirt, leaves and rain from getting into the BB reservoir.
