Important changes to Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide rules

I have sold a RIF via this forum and was curious if anyone has has success sending RIFs via parcel force after their T&Cs update. I dont want to send it via thme if there is a good chance for it to be seized etc.
I sent one via PF48 a few weeks ago, and it was fine. I also received one from a forum member at the same time as we traded, and both were sent/received via PF48, fine with no issues

I always use Parcelforce 48 and when the counter guy says ‘for security purposes, what’s in the parcel?” I say “Toys” because everyone seems to refer to them as airsoft toys. Never been questioned so far.

Ditto to the above I’ve bought and sold on here using PF48 collection from home never had a problem at all 👍

Hello,

Last summer (2025), I imported a RIF from a UK seller to France (without gas magazines as they were prohibited).
Both the seller and I asked a third party — Sam Liggat, Owner & Head Tech at Kingdom of Airsoft — to handle the shipping process to France (UPS not Parcel Force). The service was reasonably priced and the whole process went very smoothly.
French customs were noticeably more confident once I explained that the package had been shipped through an official airsoft store and confirmed that the item is an airsoft gun toy.
For future imports outside the UK, I will definitely rely on Kingdom of Airsoft again to assist with the shipping process to France.
