HPA or Gbbr

Cheers dude. Let me know how you get on with the brass nub! I’m thinking that it’s a bit beyond my tech abilities...

All done,it’s easy to fit, in fact, I find most upgrades, and maintenance jobs on a gas gun easy, it’s one thing i most love about owning it, once you’ve stripped your gun for the first time you’ll realise how easy it actually is

the Mws by tm looks absolutely flawless for a gbbr, almost eliminating cold weather issues that some gbbr’s have

You are speaking the truth there!!! I see you have been converted. Welcome to the club. The only problem you face now is that you will want more MWS!! I have 2 already and looking at a 3rd.

Also for those who are thinking of switching to GBBR and put off by people saying about maintenance and complexity. I would rather completely strip and rebuild an MWS that start to take an AEG apart. AEG's are way more complicated than an MWS. With regards to maintenance, basic rule..... look after your shit..... You spend 100s of pounds on your toys gun which you cherish and adore. I for one am going to look after and clean it. It takes minutes to strip the MWS, clean the barrel, clean the bolt group, lube and put back together. Mini rant over....

^ Absolutely this.

Even I can make sense of the internals of an MWS; and I'm a total klutz when it comes to anything mechanical. Wouldn't even know where to begin with an AEG (and I do own one). Too much fiddly gears and electrical gubbins.

PS: I'm also considering a third MWS... the MTR16... but am trying to resist as two is plenty (inner voice: "Ha! Yeah, keep saying that to yourself, pal!" ?).

Ah crap, I should never have read this out of curiousity while stripping down an M14 AEG trying to figure out why it won't shoot!

Sorely tempted to raid number one son's university savings!

well after all the great feedback, I received, I bought myself an mws. I went onto the mws thread on here and used all the great tips. for instance I bought the brass nub, in order to hop heavier bb’s, i bought myself a really soft rubber bucking. But I also changed my mws externally, to go for a more shorter pdw style approach, as I play mainly indoor.

and this is how it looks now
