Hi all,

so recently I purchased a HFC VSR-11 as a base gun to upgrade. The first upgrade that everywhere says to do, is to remove the piston weights from the 'shock cylinder'. This includes drilling out a pin to access the cylinder. When I took the bolt out of the gun, that pin I am supposed to remove, does not exist. However this pin still exists on the TM VSR-11's. Upon further inspection, there are no piston weights inside the bolt, which solves the problem in which there is no recoil whatsoever when shot. This makes me believe that this is one of the new GEN-5 VSR's that have more power, which is excellent. However when I tried to remove the brass head, no-matter how much force I put into it, it would not budge. Now do I just need to clamp it down, or do I have to do something different with the new VSR's?

Thanks for the help.
