TM AK102 NGRS. Bought 2nd hand and thought I'd gotten a bit of a deal but turns out the previous tech work was very damaging. It looks like the original problem was the little nub that allows safe, semi, full auto had snapped but instead of fixing or fitting a new nub the tech had modified the selector plate, cut a new full auto slot in the receiver, removed the plate that stops the trigger from moving on safe and fitted the worlds biggest fuse holder under the front handguard.

cue designing and printing a new safety plate, drilling and pinning a new nub into place, fitting a eagle6 AK selector and adding a leviathan, filling in the new selector marking with JB weld and then sanding and painting the receiver. Since I had it in bits I fitted a steel stock catch (TM one has a habit of breaking if you drop the AEG), heavily modified a lower foregrip to fit the NGRS (much drilling, sanding, grinding and then painting). Also fitted a mock Bulgarian flash hider as it came with the AK105 bell flash hider and not the TM AK102 one. It came with a upgraded inner barrel, gears and spring and is sitting nicely at 340 on a .2

Here's my M4 (Specna Edge), my brother's M16 (Specna Core I think) and my XM177 (E&C).

The M4 has a Perun hybrid, 14:1 gears, solid bushings and compression set from Mr Ak2m4, motor is a bit of a mutt I built by putting the armature from a high torque motor into the case of a high torque, high speed one from AliExpress. Barrel is the original brass Specna 6.03 and uses a Macaron 60 hop rubber, omega nub. It shoots like a laser (in Airsoft terms) and has decent range. ROF is about 23rps on 2s I think?

The M16 is bone stock and this also shoots fantastically, with decent range too- my brother is going to leave that as is. He has great fun blasting people with the 203 too, usually accompanied by giggling...

The XM is my favourite to look at, the trades are fantastic and I love the old school integrated carry handle over the M4's detachable one. It has an upgraded compression set and nozzle, again from ak2m4, and a 6.02 stainless barrel. Hop is the same as the M4. It's running 16:1 gears and I have a Perun hybrid on the way for it. The problem I have with the XM is that it does not shoot as accurately as the M4, I get the odd curler which goes off to the side now and then. I may remove the barrel and try to polish it a bit to see if that helps at all...

Rebuilt an old S&T IDZ Stock to fit to my VFC after discovering a new one would cost £40+ from China. Also managed to fit an S&T "Enhanced" Gas Block to my standard VFC barrel meaning I don't need to take a gamble on Clutch Precisions shitty QC just for the sake of having a "correct" gas block. All that's left to do now is get the KA4 top rail to replace the plastic IDZ and then my VFC G36KA4 GBBR will be "done" (It never is done though, lets be real...)

Their hop unit tdc thingy for the g36 looks good, hopefully the ka4 rail isn’t bad too as it’s essentially all one piece… 🤞

Have you seen the Jaeger video where he looks at their STANAG conversion? Wow what a hunk o' junk.

Apparently the MG36 barrels were sent out wonk on a few batches, and they made the muzzle device bores too narrow so they chopped BBs as well.

I don't think I'd trust them to make something as tightly toleranced as a TDC hop. 😅

Yeah, I've heard all of the horror stories! Their barrels also cause pews to go into full auto due to the barrel QC causing them to slide more inwards. Sadly to my knowledge they're the only ones making steel barrels and the correct KA4 parts though 😢

I just tested my G36 and the gas block comes loose from the recoil, the handguard seems to retain it though so I may just put up with a wobbly gas block rather than a terrible barrel 😂

Hear is my gun wall I put together with all my Cold War NATO guns. From top to bottom.

1) originally a A&K m240. It's has been converted into a British spec L7a2 GPMG using a blend of real steel parts and custom machined parted and the internals have been replaced with a Daytona gun recoil engine.

2) originally a VFC LAR. Ongoing project, It's being converted into a British/ commonwealth spec l1a1 SLR using a mix of real steel parts and custom machine steel outer barrel and flash eliminator.

3) Vfc M16a1, a recent addition so it's completely bone stock. For now.

3) originally a WE L85A2. It is now a custom built L86A2 that have been put together using a ICS l86 AEG parts and a custom machine outer barrel extension and replica gas piston and gas block.

4) WE L85a2 that is in the process of being converted into a A1 spec replica. Iv machined a A1 clocking handle and I have the a1 front hand guard but I Still need to make a gas block that will allow me to fit the replacement real steel hand guard. The bayonet is a real surplus SA80 one.

5) WE Apache that's got a SLR grip fitted as a fore grip. Not sure what I want to do with replica yet. Probably going to do some sort of operation dynamo SAS type build

6) Originally a WE xm177e1 it's been built to resemble the Car-15 used by Danny archer at the end of the film blood diamond. If you know you know.

7) VFC G3A3. This one is is almost stock. It has an adjustable valve fitted but that's all. I intend to get a nice set of bundeswehr furniture for it.

Pistols

I'm not a big pistol lover so only got 3

1) WE browning Hi power mk1

2) WE Browning Hi power mk3

3) WE Sig P226

If your reading this thanks for talking the time to read what iv written. I hope you like what iv got to show.

Very nice. Thoughts on it?  Where did you buy it from?

I’m wondering if I should short cut a couple of years of intermediate GBBR purchases and go straight to a VT as an end game gun. Once you’ve been through a few MWS/VFC/GHKs you’re kind of on the way to VT money anyway is my thought.
Yea pretty much this, Ive had expensive TM's VFC's and GHK's so the natural progression was to get a VT which was literally inspired by Explosive enterprise and Badabing. Mine was purchased from CRW london, I think they're the only way to get a VT in the UK other than a proxy through the GBBR Discord. CRW seems to stock a small amount but will take a some what custom order for different variants but I think the wait is several weeks if not longer.

It was extremely expensive at £1850 but the quality is extremely nice, receivers are 6061 aluminum 'Forged CNC' bodies which is apparently the equivalent to a real civilian spec AR and utterly overkill for airsoft. I havnt shot it much at all as im more of a collector apparently it needs a few thousand bb's through it to ware in which mine more than likely wont experience🤣
