Gun picture thread

@emilianoksathey are both made by Western Arms , the two tone version has a metal slide & barrel upgrade fitted (shooters design if I recall )   :)
Thanks.

Pity they are no longer available.

@emilianoksa All stock TM

I sanded the finger grooves off the lower as they were just annoying and then stippled and painted it.

The slide is stock just Cerakoted in patriot brown, Tritium front sight, cowcow rear.
Excellent work.

Considering it is all stock, that is very impressive.

Does the cerakote on the slide really reduce the risk of the plastic scratching?

Cerakote is tougher than the plastic yes, but obv if you grind it up brickwork it wont last, but neither would any coating/anodising etc

A couple of shots of the USP 9 that I got recently and one with the UAR in tow - think they complement each other well aesthetically, nice sci fi ish vibe and something a bit different. Rather enjoying this pistol shooting it in the garden and skirmishing it this Sunday.

Will probably paint the slide in Halfords OD like all my others...

Depends if you're damn sure you're going to keep it.  Painted guns are generally the less common sight on the field because, as with any item, it dings the resale value and a lot of people are just too afraid to make the leap/commitment.  A camo gun vs a big block of black certainly doesn't hurt your chances of being seen in the bushes at a decent distance that's a fact.

Just got my Specna MK18 upgraded by Negative Airsoft and its an absolute machine, however, i'm not sure if i should paint it?

I'd probably go with ranger green and some brown with netting over the gun for the pattern if i did.

Should i do it?

How do you use it ?, for example if you said you practiced a dmr/counter sniper role in predominantly woodland sites, with quite a lot of camping?️ & sneakyness, then I'd say yeah, get busy painting?.

But if your more active in an assaulter role, don't bother, not much gain & prob wear & tear will soon degrade your paintjob.
