Not sure why but this looks TINY....
It's probably the stock. It's a lot shorter than the previous QRS stock that came with it.

Likewise the stock is also of a cheaper material than the QRS polymer, but it's sturdy as hell.

UPDATE!

I have finally got my magazine converter in.

Likewise I've done some updating to it.

What's new:

Shortened Rail Covers

More Period-Correct Front Post

Magazine Adapter!

Field Expedient Sling

In the future I'm looking to replace the trigger guard with a more classic style type.

You have put the fattest sling on it and took a pic next to the biggest bottle you could have found to mess with me some more haven't you? :D

Finally got the longer outer barrel through from Hong Kong for the ARX160. Didn't realise the old short one was plastic and the new long one is proper heavy metal. Took the opportunity to install a new ZCI 400mm 6.02 inner barrel and Prommy purple bucking. The hop unit is very basic and doesn't use a traditional nub, but much like the G36 SRC unit it uses plastic/metal as a nub.

Cant wait to try it out!

Thanks :)

Well that's pretty much all of my collection. Even the M4 looks like something completely different.

This is the eventual outcome.

Is it me or does he look like he’s hiding in a bunker ?

You auditioning for the next ‘Fallout’ ? Where’s my Nuke cola !!!

PS in your shoes I’d ditch the short magpul ’type’ grip and swap it for an old school knights vert grip or a tango down grip , that one looks out of place on it , just too modern .

Believe it or not, I have some historic justification for the grip. Back in 'nam when the Xm177 was hot, it was a popular mod for an operator to take a surplus pistol grip, sand it down, and then take some form of nut fastener to it and basically make it a foregrip. The one I chose I picked since it resembled a pistol grip they'd attach. The entire kit is modeled around sort of a surplus/classic operator mod basis.

Good bit of historical research mate !

i do like it if a player can prove something that seems off , (even when it’s me being proved wrong ! ?‍♂️) nice one ! ?

I like it except for the mahoosive Magwell grip.

My WE M4 GBB Open bolt with an upgraded crazy jet inner barrel.
I realise it still works as is but you’ve got your rear sight on back to front , if you turn it around , push it right to the back of the rail and fold it down over the charging handle you’ll get a lot more accurate shots out of it than you will the way you currently have it .?
