Gg L85 Afv Gearbox Help

Hi all I had to take my gearbox out, as the piston stripped and there waa a few lumps of plastic floating about. So I needed to make sure the lower part was clear and the gears were all ok. 

What I'm after is some tips on putting the gearbox back in the lower. I've been watching some YouTube videos, but I can't really see enough in them to see how best to reconnect the two springs. So if anyone can offer some advice please let me know.

I've put my gearbox back together, but before I put it back in the lower does anyone know if there should be a spring between the fire selector and the latch to hold the dust cover open?
