Afternoon all. New here.

just starting out Airsoft.  So once I got my ukara I will purchase my first RIF

but on the mean time I wanna make sure I have safety sorted.

are these ok?  Or would people advise something different. And what would people suggest for lower face?

don’t think I wanna go full face solid design all built in if you get what I mean.

Hi and welcome.

Never scrimp on eye protection. Those are a cheap knock off of Bolle x1000 goggles. Personally I'd suggest you spend a bit more and buy the Bolle ones.

Great thanks for that. How do the x810 compare? Over the x1000.

yeah don’t wanna scrimp. But thought seeing as they from a proper shop they might have been a decent standard.

Ahoy and welcome.

The EP-01 will be fine, they're not going to break from airsoft energy impacts, although I'd agree that pretty much anything from the Bollé range can be trusted.  You may have issues with fogging though, it's the bane of many an airsofter.  I like dual-pane lenses like the Pyramex I-Force. You'll have to find out for yourself if you're a fogging victim. If you are, having a pair of mesh goggles in your bag can save your day.

Lower face, a mix of mesh and fabric gives you a good balance of protection and cheek-weldability.  The original brand of these is OneTigris, but there are cheaper equivalents now.

This. There are many options to try and stop this from various sprays etc to helmet mounted fans. Personally I use this stuff

For face protection you've several different options too. One piece masks such as the Dye range offer the most protection but make it harder to get a good cheek weld, whereas masks such as the one in the post above allow you to get your face lower to the sights but there are small gaps between the mask and your eye protection which a bb will find eventually. Alternatively if you want something without all the straps there are these balaclava style masks with mesh sewn in

Another vote for Cat Crap; it works well, as does this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ESL80E0?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
